Gryphon Travel

Our home away from home in Amsterdam was the Lucy Lou, a house boat on one of the many canals in Amsterdam.

It is a cute little loft space in the bow of a larger boat. We had a bathroom with an awkwardly tall toilet and very nice triangular shaped shower.  The bed was on a loft and the couch was tucked under the bed. I didn’t get interior photos, but I’ll put the airbnb link below if you are curious.

We spent the evenings having wine on the deck and the mornings with a cup of coffee. Well, I did. David mostly drank soda.

The view was great out the little potholes and there were fun neighbor birds we named skull mask ducks. I didn’t manage to get a very good picture, but they had cute babies and were very friendly.
