Nyíregyháza has the most beautiful zoo in Europe. I haven’t seen any others so it certainly is the most beautiful I have seen.
There were a lot of big cats at this zoo. I didn’t get photos of all if then, but it was more than I have ever seen at a zoo.
A pair of female tigers was next to a pair of female lions, and they were not chill about it. They would pace their perimeter and growl at each other.
They had a common house cat they were passing off as a wild animal. I wanted to take him home with me.
There were so many babies! Happy animals in Hungary with babies everywhere.
Even a baby rhino!
One place we bought drinks was selling food to feed the giraffes, so we asked her where the giraffes were and she didn’t know.
Also, when we did find the giraffes, there was no way to feed them…
I could have fed the pygmy hippo if only I had a watermelon in my pocket.
