Archery

It was so hot outside, we were extremely thankful this was inside in excellent air conditioning.

Our instructors gave us traditional Japanese uniforms to wear and helped us into our deerskin gloves on our right hands. The glove must be deerskin and it must be worn on the right hand. Lefties weren’t allowed in ancient Japan, sorry mom.

We were given instructions on how to hold the bow, notch the arrow, aim and shoot.

Aim was interesting, because we had to aim left of the target.

Aris had the best round. Daya caught up and tied her for total hits. Dad had a 3 hits out of 4 on his last half round and I was the worst.

This was a ton of fun for all of us.
